Description

The Core Data Systems team within Pratt IT is seeking a Systems Support Analyst with proven technical skills and experience successfully supporting, maintaining and configuring systems.

The successful candidate will be the first line of support for users when technical support requests are escalated to our department. They will be responsible for helping to maintain our Student Information System (Colleague) and performing user and daily systems maintenance, along with similar support functions within Salesforce, DocuWare and other peripheral systems. They will be involved in testing, technical documentation, training, and support. The candidate will have the chance to grow into the configuration, customization,and enhancements to systems as they develop their skill set. They will learn how to support and build eForms, scripts and other tasks as they grow into the role.

Experience in IT-support, a capacity to learn new skills and an ability to create technical documentation will be an added advantage in this position. To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable supporting end-users on a regular basis and have a problem-solving mind-set.

You will need to be effective at managing and prioritizing your own work, being dynamic to the ever-changing needs of the community, and delivering in a timely manner. Great communication skills are essential to this role as you support end users, collaborate with the team, plan, and problem-solve.

Examples of Duties


  • Review, triage and trouble-shoot technical support requests as they arise
  • Provide support to end-users of the many automations, workflows, tools and applications the department is responsible for
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks
  • Join the team in tackling problems presented to us, sprint planning, weekly project reviews and more


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: Information Technology related experience preferred. End-user support, service desk, or systems maintenance preferred.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organization skills and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to to use independent judgment and discretion to work under pressure with attention to detail essential. Motivated and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Other: Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and organize several complex tasks simultaneously, as well as have excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
