Job Summary
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting pediatric groups with the planning, content creation, implementation, and tracking of the Intermountain Epic Journey project. Works closely with School of Medicine physician leaders, administrators, and Intermountain counterparts to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. Coordinates internal and external resources to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Develops process workflows within the electronic medical record and educates support teams for success
- Develops data to monitor compliance post-project to ensure progress is sustained
- Works with CTIS teams to build and deploy effective technical solutions to clinical problems and opportunities
- Develops project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensures technical feasibility.
- Creates a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Determines the resources required to complete the project
- Develops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities required.
- Determines objectives and measures to evaluate the project at its completion.
- Executes the project according to the project plan.
- Monitors the progress of the project and adjusts as necessary.
- Ensures the project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality expectations.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
Two years of applicable experience.
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) may be preferred.

- Experience in pediatrics with a surgical specialty
- Experience working with informatics
- Experience working with the Epic EHR (iCentra experience also beneficial)
- Experience with patient registration

- Ability to analyze, implement, and monitor interventions
- Ability to lead discussions with both small and large groups of people
- Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills
