The Research Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting and advancing the research initiatives in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. This position supports the planning and execution of major proposal efforts and training grants while promoting integrated, collaborative and team research across all Franklin College disciplines and with outside and external affiliates and community stakeholders. The coordinator will collaborate with the Associate Dean for Research, Scholarship and Partnership and other members of the Dean’s Office to identify and advance the College’s research strengths and priorities; conduct intelligence and information gathering to assess the feasibility of proposal ideas; and monitor and track trends and seek out funding opportunities that align with Franklin College’s faculty teams. This position will supervise other staff as this team grows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
