About the Job
Responsibilities of this position include the oversight of an NIMH-funded clinical trial investigation from protocol development through manuscript submission to achieve study objectives. Study oversight includes regulatory, compliance, and research protection procedures including protocol development and correspondence. Responsibilities also include scheduling and overseeing the data safety monitoring board (DSMB), the monitoring and reporting adverse events, and managing unanticipated problems including protocol deviations.
Duties include start-up activities, documentation/template development, digital health intervention development and implementation, assessment procedure development and implementation, participant recruitment/enrollment, and oversight of study staff.
This position requires the oversight of all data collection, quantitative analyses, and data interpretation, along with manuscript authorship and presentations at scientific meetings. The individual hired for this position will work closely with the research team on investigators and consultants along with administrative support including grants management.
1. 70%: Study start-up procedures, protocol development, participant recruitment, data collection, data management, regulatory/DSMB oversight, study staff oversight
2. 20%: Develop and implement digital mental health intervention along with a multifaceted assessment protocol
3. 10%: Analyze data using advanced quantitative statistics, present findings at scientific conferences, and publish manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
•BA/BS degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree plus at least four years of relevant experience.
•Strong experience in leading federally funded research examining eating behavior
•Advanced quantitative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•PhD and the completion of one year of post-doctoral training
