Two (or above) highly selective Joint Post-doctoral Fellowships (JPDF) in the HK Institute of Quantum Science & Technology (Ref.: 530829 ) (to be supported by HKIQST and GBA-QSC Hong Kong Branch)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work on either theoretical or experimental research projects related to quantum science under supervision of relevant/designated Institute fellows or members
• Coordinate or conduct either experimental job or analytical and/or numerical calculations
• Assist in the preparation of research reports and manuscripts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A Ph.D. degree in physics or a related discipline
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• With the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines
• With the ability to work independently and in a team
• Self-motivated and responsible

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
