Information Technology- Client Support Services
Central Connecticut State University invites applications for a full-time Administrative Faculty Trainee within the Client Support Services Team of the Information Technology Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent college graduate to participate in a formal development program that is designed to provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to qualify for a designated Administrative Faculty Program Associate Administrator II position. Upon completion of this program the anticipated areas of work would be Onsite Support and Audio/Video Support.

Position Profile
The successful candidate will provide technical support and assistance to faculty, staff, and students. This will include installing and supporting technology in classrooms, including computers and audio/visual equipment. The incumbent will also assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems and helping clients with their IT related questions. Incumbent may also collect, analyze, and maintain data, databases and other record keeping.
Incumbents may be required to work on campus evenings and weekends, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Ideal Candidate
Preference will be given to applicants with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Communications.
- Proficiency with audio/video equipment, including projectors, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
