Schedule Information: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with some evenings and weekends

Hours per Week: 37.5

Duties of Position: Manages the Raiser’s Edge donor database, including setting database standards, streamlining monthly reporting, maintaining the operations procedures manual, and identifying/providing training for Foundation staff. Responsible for running complex reports, queries, exports and imports to database, dashboard reports, fundraising reports and comparison reports.

Responsible for the Foundation’s prospect/management systems, research, benchmarking and tracking. Identifies and qualifies major gift prospects. Creates prospect profiles for Foundation staff, Board members, and volunteers and stores in donor database. Supports board committees with the development and tracking of prospects.

Assists with the development of the scholarship stewardship reports. Develops and coordinates Harper donor stewardship/recognition reports, including annual and lifetime gift reports, donor walls and naming opportunities. Works with Marketing Department for updating the Foundation website and virtual donor wall.

Works with Foundation staff and Marketing Services to coordinate operational aspects of online giving and online registration. Maintains the Advancement Services and Alumni web pages, including monthly updates, photo gallery, and videos.

Responsible in the operational functions of the Foundation, including: daily gift processing, gift receipt thank you letters; monthly pledge reminders and past due reporting; weekly Fundraising report, annual donor tax statement and campaign reporting.

Serves as primary back up for the Internal Communication Manager to assist in the Intranet Portal management.

Serves as primary back up for the Senior Director of Finance and Operations to assist in the accounting and financial reporting functions.

Supports the Foundation Staff in committee meetings with preparation of meeting packets, minutes, and meeting schedules. Committee support includes: Finance and Investment, Major and Individual Giving, Corporate Relations, Alumni, and Annual Giving. Provide assistance when needed for Full Board Meeting, Committee on Directors, and Executive Committee meetings.

Assists with general administrative activities including greeting visitors, answering the main phone line, monitoring general emails, processing on line registrations and gifts, and distributes mail.

Serves as Foundation liaison to Information Technology.

Provides support and set up for foundation and college annual events. Support includes event registration, mailing lists, name tags, tracking and proactively acquiring RSVP’s, pre-event preparation, post event attendance confirmations and follow-up.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field

Experience Requirements: Minimum three years successful fundraising experience, preferably in an academic setting.

Strong organizational and communications skills are essential.

Experience with Raiser's Edge constituent management software required.

Knowledge of computer-based research methods and database management is essential.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Experience with Omatic and Financial Edge preferred.
