Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Coordinator for Career Engagement.
The Coordinator for Career Engagement is a vital role designed to enhance the career opportunities available to our students by building strong partnerships with industry leaders, alumni, and professional groups. The Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies that expand our network, facilitating internship and job opportunities, and supporting our students' professional growth. The Coordinator plays a key role in organizing career-related events and workshops through modern marketing tactics, ensuring our programs align with current industry demands, trends, and constituent interests.

This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position however, travel to local and regional site visits for student and employer engagement is expected.
Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2016, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2016
Required Years of Experience: 1
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1 year of experience in marketing, public relations, event management, human resources, or a related professional field.
- Experience coordinating in-person and virtual events, including marketing messages to segmented audiences with sound and successful execution.
- Demonstrated project and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a strategy to manage Career Development's online presence across various social media platforms to increase user engagement and share information.
- Strong technology skills. Experience with design software to develop marketing materials for students, alumni, and employers.
- Creative, collaborative, and willing to work well independently or as part of a diverse team.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours-nights and weekends-as needed.
- A valid driver's license in your state of residence and have had no serious violations (Type A) within the past five (5) years and no more than three (3) moving violations (Type B) in the past three (3) years. University Policy is found here: Monmouth University Vehicle Use Policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Photoshop, WordPress, or Canva.
Experience in CRM and CMS databases.
Experience with online career management systems.
