POSITION: Full-time non-tenure track appointment in Jazz Studies / Saxophone.

SALARY: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach theory (all levels) styles/analysis, improvisation, composition/arranging, jazz history and jazz pedagogy, some ensemble coaching and saxophone studio instruction. Must have the ability to recruit outstanding students.

QUALIFICATIONS: Outstanding creative performer who can teach both in the studio and classroom. Creative work must demonstrate a high level of accomplishment, national/international recognition is preferred. Advanced degree preferred and/or equivalent professional experience.

APPOINTMENT DATE: July 1, 2025
