Aquinas College, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Chemistry.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

Teaching: Teach 24 contact hours per year. Primary teaching assignments will include the two-semester organic chemistry sequence (lecture and lab). Other teaching responsibilities could include courses for non-science majors or general chemistry courses. Ability to contribute to our biochemistry and molecular biology program would be welcomed. 

Student advising and recruitment: Advise undergraduates and participate in the recruitment of qualified students. 

Scholarship: Develop and maintain a program of research and scholarship that engages undergraduates.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in organic chemistry or closely related discipline. Postdoctoral and teaching experience preferred.
