Assistant/Associate Professor-Professional Practice in Human Anatomy

Job Summary:

The School of Kinesiology at LSU seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Human Anatomy.  Professional qualifications that enable the successful candidate to work in our Rathbone Human Anatomy & Cadaver Lab and teach related human movement science coursework are necessary for this position. The successful candidate will display strong communication skills and the ability to work successfully with students, clinicians and allied health care partners.

Job Responsibilities:

100%-(1) teach courses in human anatomy; (2) teach undergraduate courses and/or graduate courses in exercise sciences as needed;   (3) assist and maintain all protocols for the Rathbone Cadaver Lab (4) provide service to the School, College, University, and Professional committees as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. or clinical doctorate in Anatomy, Kinesiology or a related field earned before employment

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral experience and previous experience working in labs with anatomical donors.  Candidates with allied health clinical backgrounds and previous experience with anatomical donor labs are encouraged to apply.
