The Business Analytics Interdisciplinary Program at DePauw University invites applications for a part-time teaching position for the Spring term of the 2024-25 academic year. Candidates with a Ph.D. will be considered at the rank of Assistant Professor and candidates with a Master’s degree will be considered at the rank of Instructor. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The Business Analytics Interdisciplinary Program specifically seeks candidates with significant experiential learning experience specifically with industry project based capstone courses. The expectation for faculty members is a commitment of approximately 10 hours per week per course for office hours, preparation, grading, and class time.
This position will support the development and pilot teaching of the business analytics capstone class, the instructor will co-teach the course with another instructor. Experience with consulting work, industry projects, and industry experience are essential as is experience teaching business analytics to undergraduate students.
