Description
The Flagler College Natural Sciences Department is looking for a part-time instructor to teach one section of our undergraduate Biochemistry lecture course in Spring 2025, starting January 21. The lecture is scheduled MWF from 12-12:50 pm. Our preference is for in-person teaching at our downtown St. Augustine campus, however, we are open to online teaching if necessary.
Qualifications
Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field. In exceptional cases, outstanding professional experience and demonstrated contributions to the teaching discipline may be presented in lieu of formal academic preparation. Such cases must be justified by the institution on an individual basis.
•Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit good judgment in making decisions concurrent with college policy.
Candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, effective communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and productively with students.
