Applications are invited for appointment as Tutor in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 530716), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in public/global health or a related discipline; or MBBS and specialist qualification in Public Health Medicine or equivalent. They should be highly conversant in contemporary issues about health sciences and global health, competent in case-based and problem-based teaching pedagogy, and able to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment.

The appointee will teach courses in medicine, public health, and/or global health and development; manage interdisciplinary health research projects; conduct problem-based learning and evidence-based practice tutorials; coordinate field investigations for public health courses; coordinate academic curriculum for MBBS/MPH modules; develop and teach common core courses; assist in research projects and publications; and undertake other teaching-related duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
