Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Oversees cross-functional, strategic projects critical to university operations and spanning administrative and academic units. Supports project management, process improvement, and change management-related services to the university. Leads the Organizational Effectiveness team within the Division of Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, and Inclusive Excellence (OLI).
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and senior leadership on developing and implementing strategic projects.
2. Reviews and analyzes project proposals and plans, consulting with senior leadership and Organizational Effectiveness team members.
3. Leads select strategic projects that require cross-functional engagement with university staff and external stakeholders, as appropriate.
4. Facilitates precise projections of scheduling, staffing, resources, and budget requirements
5. Ensures professionally prepared deliverables and completion of services
6. Establishes standards related to managing projects, reporting, documentation, templates, dashboards, and related tools necessary to support project management, process improvement, and process documentation initiatives
7. Develops Organizational Effectiveness services and processes to create consistent approaches and execution.
8. Conducts regular project reviews
and accurately communicates project
status in a formal and informal setting throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Provides leadership and oversight for Organizational Effectiveness team members.
10. Develops benchmarks and identifies KPIs for team success and impact.
11. Develops training and outreach efforts to inform and educate the campus community on OE service
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Eight (8) years of related or comparable project management experience and previous management or supervisory experience are required
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field of Higher Education
Certified Project Management Professional
Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci)
Process Improvement Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, green belt or higher)
Preferred Experience
Instructional Design experience
Proposed Salary
The budgeted salary range is $103,700 to $110,000. Offers are based on relevant experience.

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
