Advertised Job Summary
Re-advertised Cyber Workforce Specialist, (Training & Dev Dir II) Minimum Salary: $65,539 per year, USCA College of Sciences and Engineering (CSE)

Reporting to the Dean of College of Sciences and Engineering (CSE), the Cyber Workforce Development Specialist position in the CSE. This position will concentrate on increasing collaborations, internships, and direct hires to Savanah River Site (SRS) and other DOE and DOD facilities. In this capacity this position will support and advise on best practices in building efforts for National Security Agency (NSA) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards to meet DOE/DOD requirements as needed. This position will execute effective outreach and initiate workforce development collaborations and opportunities with DOE/DOD facilities. This will include assisting in writing of grants and Memos of Understanding (MOUs) to support cyber initiatives with the DOE, DOD, and other USCA cyber partners. This position may also help in acquisition of content and materials for training modules of cyber related initiatives and projects depending on background. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understanding of federal grant/contract regulations and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, members of work team, and external customers. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience researching and analyzing complex information. Ability to work independently in a team environment, exercise sound judgement, be flexible and accountable, manage conflicting responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of basic computer software, including Microsoft Office products as well as Adobe and other web-based applications. Demonstrated excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Minimum requirements: A bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in cyber, Information technology, Computer Science, or Intelligence preferred. Significant working experience with cyber. Professional knowledge of the cyber environment. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in cyber, Information technology, Computer Science, or Intelligence preferred.
Significant working experience with cyber.
Professional knowledge of the cyber environment
Working experience with cyber activities in the DOE, DOD, military or government agencies preferred.
