Department: Economics, Finance and Real Estate
Position Summary:
The Leon Hess Business School at Monmouth University is seeking qualified applicants for an assistant professor tenure-track position in Real Estate starting in the 2025 fall semester.
The Leon Hess Business School at Monmouth University is AACSB accredited and has over 35 full-time faculty members. There are over 1000 full-time undergraduate students in business and over 200 students in the MBA program.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Doctoral degree, ABD candidates may be considered with degree completion expected by date of employment
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Required Years of Experience:
Other Requirements:
- PhD or DBA in Economics, Finance, and/or Real Estate or JD from an accredited school. ABD candidates will be considered if the degree completion is expected by date of employment.
- Evidence of scholarly activities in the area of economics, finance, or real estate, or related field (publications, conference presentations)
- Candidates should be able to teach some of the following courses: Real Estate Development, Real Estate Law, Appraisal, Real Estate Technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations.
