Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Neurogenetics - Tenure Track

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of psychiatric neurogenetics, animal models, snRNAseq technology, and spatial transcriptomic science. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.
Teaching responsibilities may include graduate and/or clinical instruction of residents, medical and graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include conducting research in translational neuroscience relevant to the neurogenetics of psychiatric disease, publishing in top journals, and successfully competing for extramural funding to fund research.
