FACULTY POSITIONS
Paine College is a growing, private institution steeped in the tenets of Methodism that provides a liberal arts education of the highest quality. The College emphasizes academic excellence, ethical and spiritual values, social responsibility, and personal development to prepare students for positions of leadership and service.
Faculty in the academic departments are expected to teach a full-time undergraduate teaching load which will include day courses as well as evening, night, and online courses; advise students; conduct socially significant research; engage in teaching practices with an acute focus on documenting student learning; serve on faculty committees; attend departmental, faculty and other meetings, attend College convocations, and pursue professional service opportunities at the local, regional, and national levels. Previous collegiate level teaching experience is preferred. The academic departments are seeking qualified candidates for tenure track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor to support the HBCU institution and its programs.
Department of Business Administration: Accounting, Management, Quantitative Business, Statistics, Economics, Cybersecurity, and Marketing
Department of Mathematics, Sciences, and Technology: Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Physics, and Chemistry
Department of Humanities: English, History, Philosophy, Art, Spanish, French, and Religion
Department of Social Sciences: Psychology, Sociology, Criminology
Department of Media Studies: Mass Communications, Broadcasting
