The Spadoni College of Education at Coastal Carolina University announces openings for teaching associates in Early Childhood Education for the spring 2025 semester. These will be face to face teaching positions.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree with 18 hours of graduate coursework (or meet the established alternative qualifications) in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field with a minimum of three years successful teaching experience in grades prekindergarten to grade 3 in PK-12 public schools. Prior university experience is preferred. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses and/or supervise field experiences and internships.
The Early Childhood Education Program at Coastal Carolina University is a specifically designed program of study that meets educational requirements for South Carolina licensure in grades PreK-3. The Early Childhood Education Program includes extensive clinical experiences in area schools, beginning in the first semester of study in education and continuing through the internship experience at the end of the program. Clinical fieldwork begins with a focus on guided observation experiences, followed by expectations for individual, small-group, and whole-class instruction.
