Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Hematology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs as well as formal lecture opportunities.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborative or independent research of high quality with distinctive, original, and expert intellectual contributions. The successful candidate will be expected to secure independent research grant support, usually from federal organizations, in addition to support from participation in collaborative grants. Mentorship of graduate students or postdoctoral fellows, while not required, should be of high quality.
