Housing Research in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences
of the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at North
Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a
Research Associate position. The employee will be expected to
perform research, critically analyze data, and assume primary
responsibility for writing and publishing the scientific results in
the Housing Research projects, which the Principal Investigator
will direct. The position requires excellent communication and
organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a
team.
Details are as follows: The employee will report directly to the principal investigator and is responsible for completing Housing Research project work as assigned by the supervising PI; The employee is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Housing Research projects; The employee is expected to work independently to collect data for Housing Research projects and analyze research results using appropriate software, to contribute to publications, reports, and presentations at professional meetings or for local communities for the Housing Research program, to participate in grant proposal writing and assist in submission activities, to provide student mentoring for undergraduate and graduate research assistants in Housing Research, to continue to develop his/her research knowledge and skills through workshops/seminars or webinars related to research and scholarship, grant writing, and community outreach.
