QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements : A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and the corresponding industry certification (if applicable).
Experience Requirements : Two years of professional experience of the subject being taught. Knowledge of safety practices in professional settings. Experience teaching adults.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Career and Technical Programs department offers non-transferable credit courses in career development, computer training and healthcare through Continuing Professional Education (CPE). CPE courses are short-term trainings that are completed within one semester. We continually accept proposals for new courses leading to a career.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Career and Technical Programs provide programs of study that involve a multiyear sequence of courses that integrate core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct online and on-site training for any of the following subjects: AI, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Java, and Python.
- Evaluate student performance and record grades.
- Ensure students who successfully complete programs receive grades, digital badge (if applicable), and access to certification and career resources.
- Support the development of related Continuing Professional Education courses in accordance with industry certification requirements.
