Responsibilities: Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty position in Human Performance/Exercise Science in the Department of Sports Sciences. Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses in a learnercentered environment, supervise undergraduate/graduate research, mentoring graduate students, scholarly activity, and service to the university and community.

Qualifications: Applicants with an earned doctorate in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field are preferred. ABDs who will complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. The candidate should be able to teach a variety of courses within the major curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Qualified candidates should demonstrate experience employing successful pedagogical strategies in the collegiate classroom setting. The successful candidate will aid in the operation of the Human Performance Laboratory. Preference will be given to individuals with professional certifications (e.g., CEP, CSCS) or membership (ACSM, NSCA)
