Class Description

Coordinates the planning and implementation of performing arts rehearsals, outreach, and events on and off-site.

Minimum Requirements

Associates Degree in Performing Arts or an Arts Administration related discipline, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Two years of prior experience in Technical Theater or Theater Production. Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with violation points less than five (5) and the ability to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends.

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Coordinates communication and logistics for multiple ongoing performing arts events in on-campus and off-site locations.
  2. Maintains and updates rehearsal, event calendars and communicates changes and progress to all participants.
  3. Submits and tracks work requests with College Communications, Facilities Management, and related departments in support of performing arts events
  4. As needed, may serve as on-site event supervisor and/or house manager, including assisting with set-up, break-down and execution in support of artists and participants.

The Roth 403(b) savings feature allows employees to contribute after-tax dollars and then withdraw tax-free dollars from their account upon retirement. The Roth 403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors: TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save for retirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees may contribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
  • Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms.
Parking
Free. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses.
