Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global research university and the recognized leader in experience-driven lifelong learning. Our world-renowned experiential approach empowers our students, faculty, alumni, and partners to create impact far beyond the confines of discipline, degree, and campus.

Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs— in a variety of on-campus and online formats—lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools. Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
Northeastern University's Roux Institute is designed as an engine of innovation, talent-building, and economic growth for Portland, Maine, and northern New England. Partnerships set our model of graduate education and research apart. With leading companies and nonprofit organizations at the table from day one, we are creating programs that are preparing the workforce to stay agile and thrive in a competitive landscape powered by artificial intelligence. We are nurturing an environment for high-impact research and innovation in Experiential AI, computer and data science, digital engineering, the advanced life sciences and medicine, and other tech fields. And we are helping entrepreneurs launch businesses focused on and powered by technology. We envision an innovation corridor that in the coming years will stretch from Boston to Portland and beyond.

Responsibilities:
The Roux Institute at Northeastern University is seeking an enthusiastic, data-driven candidate for the role of Paid Media Specialist, with the opportunity to make significant and immediate impact on the enrollment efforts for the Roux Institute in Portland, Maine. This position will be part of a dynamic team of marketing strategists, content creators and UX designers tasked with developing campaign concepts and strategy, digital assets, website experiences, brand positioning and messaging to support enrollment and the continued growth of the Roux Institute.

This position is based at the Roux Institute in Portland, Maine and reports to the Marketing Manager - Enrollment within the Roux Institute Marketing team, which is part of Northeastern University's Marketing team. Occasional travel to Boston may be required.

Qualifications:
2-4 years of demonstrated experience building and managing multi-channel digital ad campaigns - within platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter - with experience deploying multiple ad formats and optimizations. A bachelor's degree and/or a master's degree, in marketing, business administration, economics or a related field.

Ideal candidate is driven, analytical and highly organized. Must be able to execute the wide-ranging digital marketing initiatives needed to engage and convert diverse audiences of prospective students. Working in collaboration with Northeastern and Roux Institute marketing colleagues, this position will need to understand the brand and translate that into compelling ad campaigns that speak to our audiences across their journey and drives them into action, whether that be requesting more information about graduate programs, engaging in a partnership exploration, or getting involved with our entrepreneurship initiatives.

This position is a fit for someone who has a deep understanding of key marketing concepts and objectives pertinent to enrollment marketing, including channel planning, budget management, lead-generation, and funnel analyses. The candidate should also possess a high degree of comfort constructing and publishing new digital ad campaigns, with the requisite level of attention to detail, willingness to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-moving start-up environment, and a deep curiosity about marketing tactics both within and beyond the world of higher education.

Excellent people skills and a global-first, inclusive mindset is a must. Because Northeastern is a university with locations worldwide you'll need to be culturally aware, both in professional interactions and in the work you produce.
