Senior Course Producer (Part-time)

The Senior Course Producer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of CCO's online education programs. This role leads efforts in quality assurance, course deployment, and the implementation of innovative technologies to enhance course production. Collaborating across departments, the Sr. Course Producer ensures seamless integration of academic content, maintains rigorous quality standards, and enhances the overall learning experience.

Critical Functions:
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous quality checks on master courses for 7-, 8-, and 15-week terms, addressing errors and inconsistencies to maintain technical functionality.
  • Course Deployment: Import content from master courses into live term shells, overseeing the enrollment of instructors and timely invitations to faculty before course launch dates.
  • Internal Production Procedures: Develop and maintain the Internal Production Procedures (IPP), utilizing Google sheets and formulas for systematic documentation and workflow optimization
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Program Directors and the eLearning Director on proposed changes by instructors, ensuring seamless integration into course production.
  • Faculty Support: Promptly communicate with faculty to address live course-related questions, actively engaging in course edits and efficiently resolving issues with Canvas support.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree. 3- 5 years of professional experience in quality control assurance and/or information systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in online course quality assurance or a related role with familiarity in evaluating online course quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask effectively under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • In-depth experience with learning management systems
