Job Details
The University of Montevallo (UM) invites nominations and applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in Economics, beginning in August 2025. A Ph.D. in Economics from an AACSB International accredited institution is required, but ABD status doctoral candidates will be considered.
Candidates with experience or relevant certifications in the field will be given special consideration. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels. The desired candidate will have experience in teaching courses in Economics. The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacher, active scholar, and effective mentor for students with diverse backgrounds, preparation and career goals.
