Job Details
Description
Under general supervision, performs a broad range of semi-skilled tasks and maintenance duties in the building construction and maintenance field. Including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and painting. Assist in emergency service in addition to routine work as directed. This position is considered essential personnel.

Percent of Total Time: 75%
Job Duties
Will perform routine maintenance, duties may include floor/carpet tile, patching walls, trim work, stair tread replacement, door closures, painting, changing filters, adjusting doors ceiling tile replacement, assisting with belts and motors, preventative and reactive maintenance in every trade.
Percent of Total Time: 20%
Job Duties
Assists technicians in various trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and/or HVAC to conduct preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of buildings and systems.
Percent of Total Time: 5%

Typical Qualifications
Education & Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Working knowledge and usage of hand and power tools associated with the maintenance field required.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting repairs and/or installation preferred.
Working knowledge of computerized work order management systems/applications preferred.
Supplemental Information
Physical & Environmental Factors:
Heavy work - exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Talking, hearing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, and grasping.
Visual acuity to perform an activity such as operation of machines, using measurement devices, and/or visual inspections of small parts or devices.
Subject to hazards, noise, extreme heat and cold, as well as potential exposure to chemicals and fumes.
May work from elevated scaffolding, ladders and mechanical lifts.
Working Hours and Days:
7:30am to 4:00pm M-F, occasional nights and weekends
