Job Summary:
Oversees South Haven student services operations. Assists students through the enrollment process, provides general information, instructs students in the use of technology and accomplishes multiple data entry tasks and evaluation of data. Manages special projects, campus events, student activities, and classroom scheduling. Assists in the enrollment process of special academic programs. Provides administrative support. Performs specialized tasks, based on expertise, interest and/ or department need.
Essential Functions:
1. Assists students and visitors by providing information, directions, and forms in person, by phone or email. 2. Serves as point person for room rentals, contracts, payments, and communication. 3. Guides students through the enrollment process and assists students in the completion of necessary enrollment steps. 4. Assist in the enrollment process of Marine Technology, Teacher Education and Certified Driver’s License programs. 5. Coordinates facilities and IT activities for the campus via Maintenance Connection and IT Ticket System. 6. Supervises and trains work-studies students. 7. Administers Accuplacer Assessment testing and enters scores. 8. Assists with student tracking system and maintains students enrollment and drop lists each semester. Including overseeing a corresponding communication campaign. 9. Evaluates and enters student data and produces reports when requested. 10. Provides clerical support, material preparation, and general assistance to community members, faculty and staff. 11. Responsible for making advising appointments and ensuring accuracy of appointments as well as follow up regarding reminder calls and appointment management. 12. Receives payments, checks for accuracy and enters into financial system. Prepares bank deposits, receipts, daily reports, and reconciliations. 13. Oversees registration for academic and short-term training classes including traditional, dual enrolled, direct credit and early college academy student. 14. Communicates schedule for early college academy students, registers early college students, if any errors communicates back to Director, Early College and the schools. 15. Provides financial aid information and assists students in preparing their financial aid forms including FAFSA’s and Federal Direct Loans Applications. Reviews and collects financial aid documents such as verification request forms and tax returns. 16. Provides basic informational advising, such as assessment results, completing registration forms, basic program information, location of and contact information for faculty, and other services to students. 17. Processes Admissions Applications. 18. Manages and orders offices and building supplies. 19. Assists with the coordination of student life activities. 20. Performs other duties as assigned.

Associate’s degree and three years related experience required Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent Microsoft Office and Banner skills, strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task in a busy public environment. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Grade:
Salary Range: $17.88 - $21.85
