Programming Assistant and Late-Night Supervisor
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and responsible individual to join our team as a Programming Assistant and Late-Night Supervisor for The Center for Student Involvement. This role requires someone who can assist with programming tasks, provide guidance, and ensure a productive and safe environment during late-night and weekend sessions. The ideal candidate will be a mature, reliable professional who is comfortable working unconventional hours, and willing to support large scale programs on a lively college campus. This position will additionally perform additional tasks as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the team and project requirements
- Highly Organized: Capable of managing multiple tasks,
schedules, and communicating effectively with other team
members.
- Responsible: Reliable and trustworthy, especially during
late-night and weekend hours.
- Creative Thinker: Able to support creative tasks and
ideally someone who would like to be a public speaker and MC at
late night music events.
- Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written
communication skills for clear and concise guidance.
- Problem Solver: Quick to identify issues and provide
practical solutions.
- Team Player: Works well with others, fostering a
collaborative and positive work environment.
- Leadership: Demonstrates the ability to supervise and
guide a team, especially during unconventional hours.
- Adaptable: Flexible in handling changing schedules,
project demands, and unexpected situations.
- Proactive: Takes initiative to address needs before they
become problems.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in relevant stage lighting and
stage setup would be ideal, but if not willing to learn on the
job.
- Calm Under Pressure: Maintains composure and
effectiveness in high-stress or emergency situations.
The hourly rate for this position is $16.50.
