Purpose of Position
The Assistant Manager for Housing Marketing & Promotions is responsible for the leadership of the marketing, outreach/sales, desk services, customer care and conference/guest related services for University Housing.
Primary Responsibilities
This position is responsible for representing the department to current and prospective students, monitoring messaging communications and social media, training staff in customer service techniques, coordination of the residential desk program, conference/guest services for internal and external partners, and for all sales, fill strategies, and recruiting students to live in University Housing.
Reporting to the Associate Director for University Housing – Operations, this position is the
public face of the department in the recruitment of new students, and the retention of current students; increasing occupancy and driving revenue generation. This position collaborates on departmental assessment efforts on how to refine operations and residential outreach to maximize student satisfaction. This position serves as a primary contact and directs departmental messaging, branding, perception, and outreach.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience required.
Experience in residential student housing or property management, operational management and logistics, database administration or computer programming, office systems technology, or office administration preferred.
Some light lifting (up to 50 pounds) and walking will be required.
