SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York. The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. An additional 1,600 students are served through the College's workforce and non-credit programs.
Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for Part-Time Adjunct Instructors to teach courses within the Engineering Science & Physics department for the Fall 2024 semester.
These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are on-going recruitment efforts. Applicants are contacted/hired for assignments based on college needs.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Three (3) years of college teaching experience preferred.
Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.

Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
