Salary Basis: Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources._Basis
Responsibilities:
Teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes and coordinating the Master of Arts in Teaching program; advising students; serving on various university, college, and division committees, and willing to assume other related assignments. The successful candidate will also be expected to serve on doctoral committees, grade comprehensive examinations, and perform other duties as assigned by the division chair and college dean.
Qualifications:
An earned doctorate in curriculum and instruction or a related education field is preferred. Additionally the candidate must have a minimum of three years teaching experience in Elementary or Secondary K-12 schools. Of particular importance is a thorough working knowledge of current research and practices in education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.

Preferred Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in curriculum and instruction or a related education field, thorough knowledge of current research and practices in literacy, and three years of experience in teaching elementary or secondary school age children. A record of publications and presentations is also preferred.
