University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary

Temporary, Part Time, Non-Benefitted position through 6/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).

Salary: $28.55 per hour.

Location: UCDD and/or the Watson College of Education (WCOE) at California State University, San Bernardino. Remote work may be available based on the center's needs and demands.

Work Schedule

Up to 19 hours per week.

 

 

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 5:30PM-9:00PM
  • Wednesdays: 3:30PM-6:00PM, and 5:30PM-9:00PM
  • Saturdays: 8:30AM-12:00PM
  • Telehealth: varies (only if needed)

Typical Activities

Under minimal supervision of the Director of UCDD or Project Coordinator, the Supervisor will work independently to:

 

 

  • Develops appropriate programing, treatment and interventions for clients to ensure that they reflect the client's goals.
  • Develops lesson plans and identifies appropriate materials to use during sessions.
  • Oversees interactions between teacher assistants and their clients to ensure the use of appropriate strategies.
  • Provides appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the safety of staff members.
  • Reviews client reports, session notes and other session documentation.
  • Assists in training new staff members and interns.
  • Assists in the development of progress reports according to funding agencies deadlines.
  • Provides daily pep talks at the end of each session.
  • May participate in the delivery of counseling memos to staff members.
  • Evaluates staff members and interns per request.
  • Participates in Supervisors' meetings and Full Staff Trainings.
  • Keeps attendance of staff members and ensures that they use their time appropriately, including the use of breaks.
  • Ensures that staff members follow the center's policies and procedures.
  • Makes changes in teacher assignments as necessary.
  • Has the ability to improvise and make decisions based on last minute changes.
  • Ensures the appropriate use of safety measures in case of an emergency.
  • Completes daily paperwork with updates about the sessions.
  • Delegates duties to teacher assistants and interns.
  • Is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff members and clients.
  • Ensures that incident reports for both clients and staff members are appropriately filled out.
  • Participates in quarterly parent group visits to provide parents with updates on their children's progress.
  • Engages in interactions with parents to provide and receive information about the clients.
  • Gives tours of the facility to interested parents.
  • Writes session notes at the end of each parent session that explains the type and purpose of training that was provided.
  • Must adhere to HIPAA laws to appropriately handle clients' private information.
  • Participates in full staff trainings.
  • Conducts interviews to collect data from parents for periodic reports.
  • May participate in new client assessments.


Minimum Qualifications

 

 

  • Education: BA or BS in a related field (Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.), or RBT certification
  • Experience:
    • Must have experience working with children and/or young adults with developmental disabilities.
    • Must have experience delivering behavior services to children with developmental disabilities.
    • Must have experience in a supervision role
  • Other:
    • Must be computer literate; general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Must have strong knowledge and understanding of behavior modification techniques.
    • Must work effectively in a positive environment with other professionals.

  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Spanish speaking.
