Part-time Faculty, Nursing
Curry College has ongoing needs for part-time Faculty to teach in our Division of Nursing. We have a variety of programs including the traditional undergraduate program; accelerated Second Degree BS in Nursing (ACCEL) and RN to BS Completion.
Part-time Faculty are responsible for planning and presenting the material assigned for their courses and/or clinics/labs; establishing specific requirements and informing students of the requirements; grading examinations and papers; submitting grades in a timely fashion; and explaining grades to students. Part-time Faculty are expected to be available to interact electronically with students outside the classroom.
Courses available may include: Pathophysiology, Transition to Professional Nursing; Pediatrics; Maternity; Pharmacology; Health Assessment; Medical/Surgical; Mental Health, Population Health. The days, hours and location (Milton or Plymouth campus) vary depending upon the course. In particular we are often seeking faculty to teach the clinical component of courses.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing is required for classroom teaching. Prior teaching experience preferred. Applicants for clinical instructing positions without a master's degree must have a minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience.
