Stonehill College is accepting applications for a part-time Adjunct faculty position in computer Science, beginning Spring 2025. The position involves teaching upper-level computer science courses. Adjunct faculty appointments typically involve teaching one or two courses in a semester. The position is on-site instruction only. The College is seeking qualified applicants to teach Operating Systems in the Spring 2025 semester. 

Consult with students as it may relate to course content. 
Create syllabus 
Grade exams within appropriate timeframes

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned classes.
  • Create Syllabus
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours.
  • Review coursework by students and provide specific, highly qualitative, and useful feedback.

Education and Experience


At least a master’s degree in Computer Science.
A Ph.D. Computer Science is preferred.
