Summary:
Alumni involvement is crucial to the success of American University. Alumni philanthropy supports bright students, high-caliber faculty, and significant research that benefits society, promotes innovation, contributes new knowledge, and changes lives. Phonathon employees serve as fundraisers and ambassadors for the university to achieve these goals. Student callers have the unique opportunity to make meaningful connections with the AU community, learn about life after graduation, improve interpersonal communication skills, and leave a lasting impact on American University. Phonathon employees serve as fundraisers and ambassadors for the university.
Responsibilities:
- Use VanillaSoft calling software to reach out to alumni and
parents.
- Share the importance of philanthropy and campus updates.
- Attend training sessions to enhance your performance.
- Help steward relationships with our valued donors.
- Part-Time.
- 20 hours per week.
- Select 3 shifts per week, including at least 1 weekend
shift.
- Mon-Thu: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
- Sunday A-Shift: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
- Sunday B-Shift: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
- $17.50 - $18.00 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
- Passion for American University’s mission.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- This position is available only to enrolled American
University students.
