Serve as a staff accompanist in instrumental (primarily) and vocal studios, as well as additional duties to be assigned (such as public performances, accompanying recitals, studio classes, and juries.) One hour of accompanying is equivalent to approximately one workload hour.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Serve as a staff accompanist in the School of Music.
• Hours outside of lessons and coaching will be necessary to practice and prepare repertoire for meetings with students.
• Maintain a high level of professional competence for the duties of this position, including attendance at appropriate meetings for continued professional development, as well as performance as appropriate both within and outside of the University community.
• Must be available for Wednesday morning recital hours at DePauw. Will likely be needed on Mondays and for three days per week on campus.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Master’s degree required.

Experience: Prior experience in performance and collaborative piano desired.

Communication/Language: Basic: Ability to read, listen to and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write and communicate simple correspondence.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills: General working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Google applications.
