The University of Missouri (“Mizzou” or “MU”) seeks a dynamic, innovative, and visionary leader to serve as the next Associate Dean for Research of the College of Engineering. This is a compelling opportunity to join the leadership team of a college during a period of remarkable growth and innovation, exemplified by initiatives such as MizzouForward and the Center for Energy Innovation, and reflected in Mizzou and the College of Engineering achieving historic highs in student success, research expenditures, state appropriations, and alumni support over the past three years. Mizzou Engineering is on the cusp of launching an ambitious strategic plan under the leadership of its new dean, with dedicated resources aimed at accelerating growth and establishing a clear, sustainable trajectory for success. The plan will focus on elevating the college’s research impact, expanding interdisciplinary partnerships, and enhancing student and faculty development. The new Associate Dean will play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life, guiding faculty and staff to align with these goals, driving innovative programs, and fostering a collaborative community that realizes the full potential of the strategic plan.

MU is the flagship university of the four-campus University of Missouri System and one of the most comprehensive universities in the United States.
