Inventory Control Assistant/Truck Driver

Williams College Dining is hiring for a 35-hour per week, 10-month Truck Driver/Receiver position, working Sunday through Thursday 6:00 am - 1:30 pm with Friday and Saturday off.
Working under the supervision of the Inventory Control Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to safely and efficiently deliver products, materials and equipment to Dining Service locations. Assisting in the receiving and storage of goods at the dining units will be a primary responsibility and include practices in the proper receipt, inspection, acceptance and storage of all food and supply items. Checking inventory par levels, reporting products out of code, overstocks and other problems to the Inventory Control Coordinator will be required.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently, stand for prolonged periods
of time, and handle heavy material involving lifting (up to 40
lbs.) and bending and complete duties as assigned
- Must be enthusiastic and possess strong customer service skills
when working with a diverse population of students, faculty, and
staff
- Knowledge and ability to serve guests with the highest level of
professional service is required
- Prior receiving and truck driving experience is
preferred
Application review will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled. Pay starts at $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
