Position Purpose
To coordinate and perform a wide variety of research study/office activities to increase research study/office efficiency, expedite/coordinate the work of others, and ensure the smooth operation of the research study/office. To assist with procedures related to the collection, tracking, storage, shipping and analysis of environmental and biological specimens and data.

Bachelors plus 1-2 year(s) of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Two years of relevant lab/research experience. Bachelor’s degree with major in Biological Sciences or equivalent.

• Orders study supplies and maintains organized inventory.

• Follows up on missing data and samples with study participants.
• Assures that data are successfully collected and managed.
• Assures that subject and data confidentiality is maintained, and data integrity is assured.
• Establishes and maintains study files and databases (e.g. study data, completed forms, materials, correspondence) to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and accessibility of information.

Description
• Maintains and updates databases for tracking of study materials, collection, shipment, & analysis.
• Generates reports as needed.
• May meet study participants at clinic visits for obtain samples and other study materials.
• May conduct interviews and enroll study participants to provide back-up staffing as needed and/or conduct medical record review.
