Summary:
The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment Management reports directly to the Director of Graduate Enrollment Management of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and supports the recruitment efforts of all graduate programs for the College. The incumbent executes initiatives developed by CAS leaders to achieve graduate enrollment goals of the College. This position organizes and manages CAS open houses and other recruitment events, and engages with prospective students and advises applicants with the application process.
The incumbent provides informational support to the Dean’s office for the purposes of budgeting and resource management, and tracks expenses. The incumbent is responsible for particular CAS territories, developing strong relations with departments in those territories and contributing to the recruitment activities for those departments. The incumbent will stay current in the field of enrollment management based on research and experiences, and work with the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies (OGPS) to ensure best practices and compliance thereto. The incumbent has strong facility with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms used in Recruitment (such as Salesforce, Recruit, Datatel, or Hubspot) and is capable of efficiently learning and mastering any new platforms adopted by CAS.

1.) Graduate Recruitment and Lead Nurturing
- Create and manage annual recruitment and events calendars to
enable the CAS Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) team to achieve
enrollment goals.
- Events include open houses, on-campus events, virtual
events/webinars, etc.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of events: securing
venues, coordinating with university representatives and faculty,
updating or creating presentations, sending promotional invite
emails, and other duties as necessary.
- Use web-based and technology tools, including Salesforce
Marketing Cloud (SFMC), to track inquiry and fulfillment
activities.
- Oversee development of brochures, presentation slides, videos,
and other engagement/marketing tools.
- Represent CAS at any external recruitment functions, when
needed.
- Host visiting groups to main campus.
- Plan and provide campus visit days upon request.
- Assist the Director of GEM to create and carry out
state-of-the-art methods of student outreach and coordinate current
student presence at virtual and in-person events.
- Train current students to conduct campus tours.
- Upload leads from vendors such as Niche.com, Keystone.
- Engage with applicants and admitted students via appointments,
visits, contacts, outreach, focusing on conversion success.
- Oversee email marketing automation in SFMC for CAS graduate
enrollment.
- Work with the CAS communications and marketing team and lead
the development and maintenance of automated email campaigns in
SFMC for prospective students.
- Maintain editorial calendar for one-off email
communications.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging
technologies, and trends for reaching targeted audiences.
- In collaboration with the communications team, review and
revise all promotional material on an ongoing basis including
brochures, presentation slides, videos, and other engagement
tools.
- Oversee the revisions of the admission web pages to verify
content accuracy.
- Responsible for the application process for particular CAS
Territories, developing strong relations with program directors in
those territories.
- Act as first contact for individual applicants, offering
one-on-one advising sessions, process applications in CRM (SFMC),
and troubleshoot any issues regarding the application process for
both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide input to Director and Associate Dean of Graduate
Studies for purposes of setting recruitment budget.
- Monitor expenses for graduate recruitment events.
- Support data analysis by utilizing prospect, application, and
enrollment data in CRM and other university reports.
- In collaboration with members of the graduate enrollment
management team, analyze data to assess the ROI of recruitment
strategies and events and determine the impact on each stage of the
recruitment funnel.
- Produce metrics of digital and non-digital recruitment,
marketing, and communications. Propose appropriate
adjustments.

- $60,000 - $76,500 annually.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education, training, and
experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Higher Education.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of academic regulations and university
policies required.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong ability to prioritize
and multi-task in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Proven ability to use technology to analyze data, manage
projects, and facilitate decision-making.
- Familiarity and experience with, or ability to be trained in, a
CRM such as Salesforce, Recruit, Datatel, Hubspot.
- Master's degree.
- Budget administration experience highly desirable.
- Initiative, flexibility, and teamwork approach desirable.
- Must be able to travel locally, regionally, and nationally, if
needed.
