The Division of Computing in the College of Innovation &
Technology (CIT) at the University of Michigan-Flint invites
applications for multiple tenure-track positions at the assistant
professor rank. Candidates must show exceptional promise in both
research and teaching and are expected to have an appreciation of
and commitment to the value of diversity and working with a diverse
faculty and student body.
As tenure track faculty you are expected to teach courses at the postsecondary level as well as mentor students. You will conduct research in Computer Science, establish an externally-funded research program, and publish in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Additional expectations include collaboration to create new programs, certificates and credentials to prepare graduates for the workforce of the future as well as other service to the university.
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a closely related field and a record of teaching excellence in face-to-face, online, and experiential settings commensurate with an Assistant rank.
