Family Medicine Physician Clinical Faculty with Obstetrics Centerville Clinic
We invite you to join the multidisciplinary faculty of the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine, University of Utah. We are seeking a board-certified family physician for the position of Family Medicine Physician Clinical Faculty with Obstetrics. You will be joining a strong family medicine faculty group and have opportunities for teaching family medicine residents, medical students, and other health science trainees. We practice in team-based care model, with behavioral health specialists, care managers, and clinical pharmacists as part of our primary care team.
Obstetrics practice is required with this position.
Clinical resources include:
- In-house back up from the University of Utah Department of OB-GYN
- Manageable call schedule (1 in 8)
- Favorable malpractice environment
Our Centerville Clinic is located in Davis County and is one of the Family Medicine resident continuity clinics. This clinic serves a diverse population, offering healthcare services to residents of Centerville and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine.
- Unrestricted Utah state medical license.
- Experience in clinical medicine, teaching and scholarship is preferred.
Responsibilities
- 0.85 FTE - Clinical care
- 0.05 FTE - Scholarship
- 0.10 FTE - Education, precepting FM residents in Continuity Clinic.
- 1.0 FTE total
- OB call approximately 1:8, subject to change related to the needs of the practice.
