The basics of this position:
The Media Associate performs duties in one or more media functional areas necessary to provide acquisitions, circulation, production, telecommunications, and other media services.
What you'll do:
- • Schedules and circulates instructional materials and
equipment, maintaining patron records and arranging for
inter-campus loans
• Provides equipment set-ups including computers, multimedia, LCD panels, speakers, microphones, and projectors, ensuring correct operation
• Assists faculty and students with the use of camcorders and other media equipment
• Performs routine or preventive maintenance on media equipment and conducts inventory
• Performs audio and video tape duplication, prepares media materials, and provides mounting and lamination services
• Maintains central library for films, videotape, and digital media, including inspection and editing systems
• Maintains appropriate files to support various functions and compiles statistics
• Additional duties as assigned
• High School Diploma or equivalent with one (1) year of related full-time experience
