Job Summary
The College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) encourages applications for the Online Student Services and Scheduling Coordinator! This position will oversee the day-to-day support and scheduling operations of the CEAS degree and certificate programs on the Coursera platform. Reporting to the Program Manager, the position provides faculty, staff, and student support for a wide range of crucial course related activities, including creating policies and procedures, managing and processing various academic issues, scheduling and managing curriculum for multiple programs. This position will also collaborate with the Provost's Office of Academic Learning Innovation, Coursera, OIT, Registrar, among others and will participate in strategy meetings.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Online (B3) Scheduling, Curriculum Support/Management, and Enrollment Forms:
- Assists with course proposals, new course progress and program launches.
- Serves as a liaison between online (B3) faculty and multiple teams and departments across campus to launch new courses. Informs online (B3) departments regarding course launch progress.
- Communicates closely with academic scheduling to secure Campus Solutions access and course scheduling.
- Schedules courses in Campus Solutions, Coursera, and ProctorU for every 8-week session.
- Audits enrollment form to ensure accuracy every session.
- Provides course information to OIT and UIS to link and map courses between systems accordingly.
- Attends, participates, and provides updates in Technical Services for Online Education (TSOE) meetings on behalf of B3 departments.
- Collaborates with CU Boulder's Office of Information Technology (OIT), University Information Services (UIS), Registrar, Bursar, Graduate School, ALI, and Visual Compliance for flawless course launch, enrollment, and accurate grade postings.
- Establishes consistent rules and regulations throughout online (B3) programs when it comes to Veterans Affairs (VA/GI), Disability Services, Honor Code & Creed, Career Services/Handshake.
- Works with Strategic Relations WebExpress to develop and maintain a universal student-facing academic calendar for all online programs.
- Assists partners with the Coursera Management System features.
- Creates how-to documentations and improves current workflows to enhance productivity.
- Schedules and communicates timelines and landmarks to collaborators using project management software.
- Assists faculty with any Coursera platform-related questions.
- Investigates and works closely with Coursera student services to solve Coursera platform bugs.
- Assesses online department (B3) website course information for accuracy and consistency with the course information on the Coursera platform on a bi-yearly basis.
- Establishes continuous communication with faculty and course facilitators for any course changes, such as final exams and grading rubrics.
- Responds and triages accordingly to online programs’ Salesforce tickets.
- Investigates and advances academic dishonesty cases to Honor Code.
- Manages extensions, accommodations, and proctoring deviations.
- Evaluates grade disputes and submits grade changes, if warranted.
- Triages facilitator Salesforce tickets.
- Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises the Course Facilitator (CF) cohort.
- Collects course feedback every session and sends to the designated instructor and CF’s for review.
- Sends out CF satisfaction surveys to students every session.
- Supports CFs with peer review policy and procedures.
- Develops and updates knowledge base documents for all courses.
- Constructs procedures and timelines for course facilitator responsibilities.
- Participates in team meetings and workshops.
- Undertakes other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
- Stays apprised and current on relevant University and State of Colorado policies and procedures.
- Participates in professional development activities and serves on unit, college or campus committees as applicable. Attends and participates in program meetings and cross-campus meetings.
- Serves as back-up for Program Manager and Coordinators/Managers in assigned degree programs.
- Develops and maintains procedural documents and storage.
The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Evening and weekend work may be required to provide support for students around the world. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work modality, consistent with the College of Engineering and Applied Science Hybrid Work Policy .
What We Can Offer
The starting salary range for this position is $56,000 - $65,000. Relocation assistance is available within CEAS guidelines.

What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- One year of professional experience directly related to scheduling, student services and/or curriculum coordination experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
- Familiarity with Coursera or other online learning platforms.
- Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Possess great attention to detail.

- Experience working with engineering students and faculty in a higher education environment.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to provide support to students around the world.
- Two or more years of scheduling, student services and/or curriculum coordination experience.
- Experience with online learning education and/or Coursera platform.
- Knowledgeable on Campus Solutions.
- Detail oriented with strong ability to understand constituent needs.
- Worked with a project management software.
- Proven ability to work with all members of a broad and diverse community.
- Demonstrated collaborative and participative team building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with faculty, students, administrators, and staff.
- Sensitivity to, and appreciation of, cultural, political, and geographical differences. Ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students from around the world.
