Adjunct Instructor - Environmental Health and Safety

The Environmental Health and Safety Program at Missouri Southern State University invites applications for an adjunct instructor in the field of safety, public and/or environmental health. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in public health, environmental sciences, safety, or closely related area. Specifically, we are looking for adjunct faculty to teach on campus face-to-face or online courses, beginning January 2022. The Environmental Health and Safety Program holds accreditation from EHAC and is a BCSP Qualified Academic Program (QAP). The program offers a BS and BAS in EH&S. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in student success. Demonstrated ability to work with and/or knowledge of diverse populations is preferred. Related EH&S work experience is desirable. This position pays $650.00 per credit hour, and contracts can be renewed each semester based on enrollment and the demand for courses.
