Job Description:
This position in the MFET Program will involve teaching a variety of courses and or laboratories in manufacturing engineering technology (to be determined by Program Coordinators and Department Chair). The successful candidate will be flexible and able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff. The program teaches a combination of theory and applied engineering in automation & robotic applications, CNC, machining, sheet metal forming, casting, plastics, composites, quality, lean manufacturing, & fluid power. A candidate with broad capabilities in current materials & manufacturing technologies taught in these MFET Program areas is needed.
Job Duties:
Required Qualifications:
BS degree in Manufacturing or related technology field and a minimum of five years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge and industrial experience in at least two of these specific technology areas is preferred. Post-secondary teaching experience is also preferred.

Physical Requirements of this position: Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.
Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position: None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
