Purpose of Position
The Haile College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a full-time Director of Supply Chain Programs position. This non-tenure track role is pivotal in leading the Verst Logistics Hub of Supply Chain Excellence and providing leadership for the Global Supply Chain Management ( GSCM ) Business Program. The anticipated start date for this position is summer 2025.
The AACSB -accredited Haile College of Business serves over 3,400 of NKU’s 15,000 students and offers a comprehensive environment that values student engagement, meaningful research, and civic engagement. Primary Responsibilities
The Director of Supply Chain Programs will be responsible for providing vision and leadership for the GSCM program, including curriculum development, student recruitment, and fostering experiential learning opportunities such as internships, hands-on projects, and industry partnerships. The Director will work closely with regional companies and industry associations to create collaborative projects, organize outreach events, and ensure program alignment with industry standards. Additionally, the Director will play a critical role in maintaining and expanding the supply chain network with alumni, regional businesses, and academic partners.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will hold a Master’s degree in Supply Chain focus or a Business related field from an AACSB -accredited program at the time of appointment, with at least five years of professional experience in supply chain management or a related area. A strong network of industry contacts in the Greater Cincinnati Region is highly preferred. Experience in higher education or curriculum development is a plus, particularly for those with a proven track record of managing academic programs and building corporate partnerships.
